Adverse Credit
Adverse credit is for people with poor credit history. This could include
loan arrears or previous mortgage CCJ's (County Court Judgments), default
or bankruptcy.
If you have an adverse credit history, the lender may deny you credit.
They might also offer you a credit at a very high interest rate. To change your adverse credit history, get help from a debt consolidation service and may eventually return your credit history to normal. Note that it may take months or years, but in the long run, it is sound financially. You should start by obtaining a copy of your credit files and information to check your credit score. Among our credit card providers, some specialise in issuing cards to people who had difficulty in the past.
